We began consulting Brisbane Valley Protein in mid-2017 to establish appropriate site requirements
and installed 95kW of solar PV in April 2018. Brisbane Valley Protein are looking forward to approximately
38% of their power needs being covered by solar self-consumption.
Being unable to export to the grid, our aim was to maximise the client’s solar benefit within manageable
spill losses of around 20%. We value-added 90KVA Power Factor Correction to the project to further decrease the farm’s peak demand and maximise post-solar power bill savings.
