From Gem Energy Australia: Before you panic, this is a very good thing for people on the Ergon network. The article clearly reports that the Queensland Competition Authority are going to regulate the feed in tariff pricing on the Ergon network. In the last draft report they are recommending anything up to 14c per kWh. Feel free to speak with one of our advisers for more information.

QCA F-I-T estimatesShould this come to light your expected tariff may go up from 8c all the way to 14c! The QCA simply recommend that Ergon use these feed in tariffs as they are beneficial to Ergon in many ways. It doesn’t look fantastic for South East QLD but it looks quite good for Northern QLD.
